Favorites through the years—mugs gifted by friends near and far, collected from travels, each with special memories attached. Some of my best moments have been over coffee with friends. My daily coffee experience brings much joy to my life. It's no surprise the Swedes have a word for this experience: fika, which can be both a noun and a verb, and in past tense, fikade—a simple but meaningful act of "going for coffee."
